As we follow Jesus together - seeking to make, mature, and multiply disciples - our shared life is expressed through four core rhythms that shape who we are and how we live.
Sundays are the heartbeat of our life together. We gather to re-centre our lives on God, confess our sin, rejoice in his grace, hear the good news of Jesus, and be shaped by his Word. As a community diverse in age, background, and story, we come together as one in Christ.

Following Jesus is a lifelong journey. We seek to grow in faith and maturity through personal devotion, prayer, and reading Scripture, and by meeting together in small groups. As we learn from God’s Word and from one another, we are shaped to grow in Christlikeness making all of life all about Jesus.

Give
Jesus is Lord of all, and he calls us to reflect his generosity. We partner together financially and practically in the life and mission of the church—not out of obligation, but with joy, gratitude, and trust—giving from what God has graciously given to us.
God has gifted each of us uniquely, and every person has a part to play in his church. We are thankful for the many gifts and willing hearts within our community. We count it a privilege to serve one another and our city, using our time and abilities to the glory of God and for the expansion of His kingdom here on earth.

Burnie Anglican is one church gathering in three congregations, each with its own character and style.
Sunday 9am – Contemporary Family Service
A lively, family-focused service with contemporary liturgy and an inclusive atmosphere designed with the whole family in mind. Kids are especially welcome, and our Kids Learning Time (KLT) runs during this service.
Sunday 11am – Traditional Prayer Book Service
A classic Anglican service shaped by the beauty and depth of the Prayer Book, offering a more traditional worship experience.
Wednesday Mid-Week Service
A peaceful oasis in the middle of the week—a relaxed, traditional service providing space to pause, pray, and be refreshed.

How to find us
We’d love to welcome you to Burnie Anglican!
You’ll find us right in the heart of the city at 50–52 Mount Street, easy to spot and even easier to reach. Our main entrance is directly off Mount Street, so just come on in—we’re looking forward to meeting you.
We have onsite parking available, along with free street parking on Sundays. If you prefer using the multi-storey car parks, we’re only a short walk from the Kmart Centre parking and just a few blocks from the Marine Terrace multi-storey. We’re also just a short stroll from the bus interchange on Cattley Street, making public transport a simple option too.
Whether you’re coming from around the corner or across the coast, we hope your visit is smooth, simple, and warmly received.
