Rev. Phil Coghlan
Ministry Team Leader
Originally from the Blue Mountains, Phil grew up enjoying a fine balance between playing in the great outdoors and the great indoors. After School, he trained as a High School Music teacher before going onto to study theology at Sydney Missionary and Bible College. In 2013 he was ordained in the Armidale Anglican Diocese and spent six years ministering in that area of the country. Phil commenced his time as Rector of Burnie Anglican Church at the end of January, 2019. Phil is married to Meagan, and they have three children: Mirrilee (13), Felix (9), and Chester (6).
Phil loves watching and playing sport, playing board games, watching good television, eating meat, and drinking and roasting Coffee. Most of all, he loves Jesus and wants everyone to have the chance to know the Real Jesus and the difference that knowing him makes. Phil is always keen to meet over a coffee to chat about Jesus, church or pretty much anything.
Rev. Sonny Singh
Sonny was born in Fiji and has lived in western Sydney for most of his life. He studied at Sydney Missionary and Bible College from 2010 till 2013. In 2013, Sonny worked at the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (AFES) as a team leader in Western Sydney University Parramatta Campuses. He commenced at the assistant minister at Burnie Anglican in February 2021. Sonny is married to Llynden and have three children: Jacob (13), Sophia (11) and Levi (5).
Sonny enjoys playing and watching most sports; watching good television shows, eating meat, and all things coffee. Sonny has a passion for people to know who Jesus is and what he has done for the world and he would love to chat about Jesus over a coffee
