Staff

Originally from the Blue Mountains, Phil grew up enjoying a fine balance between playing in the great outdoors and the great indoors. After School, he trained as a High School Music teacher before going onto to study theology at Sydney Missionary and Bible College. In 2013 he was ordained in the Armidale Anglican Diocese and spent six years ministering in that area of the country. Phil commenced his time as Rector of Burnie Anglican Church at the end of January, 2019. Phil is married to Meagan, and they have three children: Mirrilee (13), Felix (9), and Chester (6).

Phil loves watching and playing sport, playing board games, watching good television, eating meat, and drinking and roasting Coffee. Most of all, he loves Jesus and wants everyone to have the chance to know the Real Jesus and the difference that knowing him makes. Phil is always keen to meet over a coffee to chat about Jesus, church or pretty much anything.
